This site is dedicated to the memory of Jackie.

Jackie was a long time resident of Mariemont, OH. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her numerous friends and her family. Jacqueline C. Pickering (nee Clifton), age 84, passed away peacefully on August 15th. Beloved wife of the late Quentin H. Pickering; loving mother of Brian (Andrea), Janice, Bruce (Kathy), Karen (Dylan Starratt); dear grandmother of nine (Zoe, Aaron, Ciara, Alyson, Elyse, Lynn, Connor, Aidan, and Garreth). Originally from Toronto, she became a Registered Nurse, working in the surgical department of University Hospital in Ann Arbor. After moving Cincinnati, Ohio, she volunteered part time for the American Red Cross - taught Expectant Parent Classes, Home Care of the Sick and Injured, and was on call for the Disaster Team. While raising four children, she then worked part time for the US Government , Department of Federal Employee Occupational Health (DFEOH) in the Health Unit. Jackie was recently honored for 50 years of volunteer service by the American Red Cross. Service & reception will be held at the Mariemont Parish Center on Sunday, 8/19. Visitation at 4:00 & service at 5:00. Also, please join if you wish at the Mariemont Bell Tower at 7:00. The program by Carillonneur, Richard Gegner, will be dedicated to Jackie. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mariemont Preservation Foundation (mariemontpreservation.org). The Mariemont Preservation Foundation is dedicated to fostering the unique qualities of the Village of Mariemont. Jackie loved the village where she lived for more than 54 years.
